Auberge Collection has expanded into Africa with the launch of Auberge Safari, a collection of nine safari camps and lodges across Tanzania.
The portfolio brings together conservation-led safari operators Legendary Expeditions and Chem Chem Safari under one umbrella.
The properties are located across Tanzania’s northern safari circuit, including the Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Arusha and the Greater Mwiba Protected Wildlife Area.
Christian Clerc, President and CEO of Auberge Collection, said the expansion marks the brand’s first presence on the African continent.
Among the properties included in the collection are Mwiba Lodge, Legendary Lodge, Chem Chem Lodge and Little Chem Chem.
The company said the portfolio spans approximately 600 000 acres across Tanzania’s protected wildlife areas.
Auberge Safari said conservation will remain central to the operation with guest stays supporting the Friedkin Conservation Fund and the Chem Chem Association. The organisations focus on wildlife corridor protection, ecosystem conservation and community-based livelihood support.
