The recent translocation of a pack of wild dogs and their pups to a new den in Gorongosa National Park, Mozambique, was led by Cole du Plessis, Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) Coordinator of the Wild Dog Range Expansion Project, after a pack was discovered denning outside a protected area.
Partners in the translocation included the EWT, Peace Parks Foundation, Gorongosa Project and Mozambique Wildlife Alliance.
The rescue was documented by Home Range Productions Director Paul Steyn.
