Rwanda’s capital will welcome a new “ultra luxury” boutique hotel – The Pinnacle Kigali – in January 2026.
Located in the city’s upmarket Rebero suburb, the hotel will feature nine individually designed guest rooms – each with bespoke furnishings, smart lighting and curated pan-African art.
“The Pinnacle is an expression of what modern African luxury can be,” says Founder and Owner Sheila Kyarisiima. “It’s about creating a place that feels global but grounded in Rwanda’s warmth, creativity and grace. Every element, from design to service, is guided by that balance.”

Amenities include a rooftop bar overlooking the city, a saltwater infinity pool, a full-service spa and wellness centre, a modern fitness facility, sports courts, a 21-seat private cinema, a four-lane bowling alley, a games lounge and a library. Dining is central to the experience with four restaurants serving Afro-Asian fusion, pan-European and Mediterranean-inspired menus alongside teppanyaki cuisine.
Airport transfers and city excursions will be provided using The Pinnacle’s fleet of fully electric vehicles, which complement other sustainability initiatives such as solar power, rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling and on-site water purification systems.

A VIP airport meet-and-greet, massages and laundry are included in the rates.
The hotel will additionally feature a “departure amenity” that allows guests to return to the property after excursions to unwind until departure.
