A new three-part documentary series is taking viewers into some of Angola’s least-travelled landscapes, highlighting the country’s potential for exploration and overland tourism.
Filmed by Basement Films, the series travels from the highlands of Lubango to the arid coastline of Iona National Park in the Namib Desert, showcasing some of Angola’s remote natural environments.
The documentary, supported by Opposite Lock Africa and African Parks Network, focuses on conservation and community initiatives across the featured landscapes.
Sustainable tourism and its role in supporting the long-term protection of these areas is another focus area of the series.
The first episode aired on September 20 on Opposite Lock Africa’s YouTube channel. Further episodes are set to continue the journey through Angola.
