Europcar South Africa has announced that the company is the official vehicle supplier to the new Johannesburg-Tshwane leg of the Gautrain grid.
Europcar has car-rental kiosks in walking distance of most stations, and where this isn’t the case, vehicles are delivered direct to the stations. There are no kiosks in the Marlboro or Rhodesfield stations. If customers there require services, Europcar will deliver the vehicles for a nominal fee.
“By being present in the stations on the Tshwane-Johannesburg route, Europcar will deliver car-rental opportunities for commuters who require flexibility once they have reached their destination station,” says George Corbett, Operations Director of Europcar South Africa.
The Johannesburg-Tshwane leg will open on August 2.
