Exclusive-use beach house relaunches in Bazaruto

An exclusive-use beach house on the San Sebastian Peninsula in Mozambique’s Bazaruto Archipelago has relaunched following extensive upgrades.

Owned by the Lansdown family – who were central to the development of Botswana’s Mashatu Game Reserve – Pambele sleeps 10 guests in five sea-facing, en-suite villas within the Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary.

The fully staffed beach house features open-plan living spaces and expansive outdoor living areas with decks and a swimming pool – all with ocean views and direct beach access.

The house is fully solar-powered and has its own natural water filtration system.

The rates include daily land and sea-based activities such as snorkelling, seasonal whale watching, kayaking, island picnics, beach walks and fishing trips on a motorised catamaran.

Freshly caught seafood is often prepared on the same day by the house chef.

Pambele can be accessed via a 45-minute boat ride or helicopter charter from Vilanculos.
