Historic hotel reopens in Paarl

Zomerlust Boutique Hotel has reopened on Paarl’s Main Road following an extensive restoration project. Dating back to 1792, the historic property has been restored and converted into a 15-room luxury hotel.

It has retained many of its original elements, including gardens and a library.

The hotel is also home to SMEUL, a restaurant led by award-winning chef Kevin Grobler, featuring open-flame cooking and wood-burning stoves. Lunch and dinner are served daily to hotel guests and the public. The venue includes private dining space.
