Ker & Downey will open a new property in Botswana, Kanana Nyana, on October 15. The lodge is located in a private concession of the Okavango Delta and shares a border with Moremi Game Reserve. The name pays homage to the Setswana word for “small” as it accommodates a maximum of eight guests.
The lodge overlooks the Xudu River and floodplains. Each of its four thatched suites will have a private plunge pool. Shared facilities include a bar, lounge and dining areas as well as a gym and in-room wellness treatments.
The lodge will be open year-round and will offer land and seasonal water activities. Activities include walking safaris, game drives (including night drives) and seasonal boating excursions.
