Leopard Sands Kruger Park has joined Marriott International’s Autograph Collection, becoming the brand’s first safari lodge in South Africa.
The 18-suite lodge is on the Sabie River near Paul Kruger Gate, just outside Kruger National Park. Each suite has a private plunge pool. Shared facilities include a river-facing viewing deck, an infinity pool and a restaurant.
Twice-daily game drives into the park are complemented by boma evenings featuring local music, dance and storytelling.
The lodge also offers weekly silent outdoor cinema screenings and a Library Corner focused on Kruger’s wildlife, history and communities.
Leopard Sands draws on the traditions and craftsmanship of neighbouring Tsonga communities. It operates on land leased from the Belfast Trust community with approximately 95% of its employees from the local area.
The lodge participates in Marriott Bonvoy, allowing members to earn and redeem points on stays.
