Natural Selection Namibia to launch scheduled flying circuit

Natural Selection will introduce a new daily scheduled flying circuit across Namibia from March 1, 2026, connecting all its camps through coordinated routes operated in partnership with Wilderness Air, Desert Air and FlyNamibia.

The circuit replaces a system previously reliant on long road transfers, charters and limited flight alignment. The new offering will provide reliable schedules, competitive seat rates and simplified booking either directly with the airlines or through Natural Selection.

Natural Selection will also open new airstrips to improve access to its remote properties. This includes the Sima Airstrip, set to launch with Hoanib Elephant Camp in May 2026, located 20 minutes from the camp and just over an hour from Hoanib Valley Camp. Guests can also fly daily into Westies Airstrip, providing direct access to Shipwreck Lodge.

Airstrip access includes:

  • Kwessi Dunes: Geluk or Keerweder Airstrip (more than 30 minutes by road transfer)
  • Shipwreck Lodge: Westies Airstrip (25-minute road transfer)
  • Hoanib Valley Camp (HVC)/Hoanib Elephant Camp (HEC): Orutjandja Airstrip and Sima Airstrip opening in May next year (20 minutes to HEC and more than 1.5 hours to HVC)
  • Etosha Mountain Lodge, Safarihoek Lodge and Safari House: Ongava Airstrip (more than one hour and 45 minutes by road transfer to the Etosha Heights entry)

The only Natural Selection Namibia property not included in the new circuit is Nkasa Linyanti, scheduled to open in May 2026, awaiting access details.
