New look for Mara camp

Mara Ngenche Safari Camp, located at the confluence of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve, has completed a comprehensive renovation ahead of the peak travel season and the annual wildebeest migration.

All guest tents now feature wooden-decked floors, new outdoor showers, plunge pools and a door from the bathroom leading to the outside shower. The original stand-alone bathtubs remain in place.

Upgrades to the reception area include a new tent, decking, management offices, carpets and furniture. A gift shop has also been added.

The bar area has been expanded with a new tent and carpeting. The lounge, restaurant and front deck, where the fireplace is located, have all been refurbished. The lounge area has also been fitted with new carpets and furniture.
