New mobile camp opens in Manyeleti

Honeyguide Tented Safari Camps has launched the Honeyguide Explorer Camp walking safari experience in the 23 000 hectare Manyeleti Game Reserve in Mpumalanga. The reserve shares open borders with the Kruger National Park and is situated between the Timbavati and Sabi Sand reserves.

The mobile camp comprises four tents accommodating up to eight guests on a four-day/three-night programme. Each tent features two single beds fitted with mosquito nets and reading lights along with luggage racks, safari chairs and a coffee table. The en-suite bathrooms have chemical cassette toilets, wash basins, hot showers and vanities.

The mess tent and bar are classic Hemingway-inspired safari style with a communal dining area alongside a lounge and small library.

It will only run from April to September every year, due to seasonal changes in the landscape, as an active and adventurous safari that trades permanent structures for immersion while maintaining luxury and comfort.

The itinerary includes game drives, meals and local drinks.
