New private island resort for Pemba

Paradise Island Resort is set to open in November 2027 on a private island south-west of Pemba, Tanzania.

The resort will have 80 eco-luxury beachfront villas, including 20 exclusive over-water villas with a private pool, terrace and ocean view.

Facilities will include a spa, gym, swim-up pool bar and all-day dining. Activities will include snorkelling and diving as the area is known for its coral reefs and rich marine life.

Guests will access the resort via Pemba, followed by a short boat transfer to the island. Pemba can be reached by air from Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam or by ferry from Zanzibar.
