New GM at Fair Trade Tourism

Fair Trade Tourism (FTT) has appointed Grace Stead as its new GM. The announcement was made during Africa’s Travel Indaba in Durban. Stead brings more than two decades of sustainability experience across tourism, events and civil society. She takes on the role as demand for credible, responsible tourism practices continues to grow globally.

FTT also expanded its Board of Directors with the appointments of Lisa Scriven, Michel Girardin and Emilie Hagedoorn. Scriven is a former GM of FTT and has held several roles within the organisation since 2006. Girardin brings experience in sustainable tourism investment and development while Hagedoorn, previously FTT’s Sales Manager and European Representative, adds international certification and market access expertise.
