A total of 10 lions were found dead in Tanzania’s Ngorongoro wildlife reserve on September 18, according to a statement released by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA).
The NCAA said the lions were discovered in the Ndutu area of Endulen Ward with preliminary findings suggesting they may have died after ingesting poison.
The authority says it has launched an investigation to determine the cause and identify those responsible.
