Uganda formally drops yellow fever requirement

Travellers entering Uganda are no longer required to present a yellow fever vaccination certificate, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed.

The clarification was issued through the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control in response to a request from the Uganda Tourism Board. It states that the certificate is not a condition of entry.

An official notice published on October 2 says the requirement is not listed on Uganda’s e-visa application portal or the National Citizenship and Immigration Control website.
