Wilderness Rwanda will launch a new wellness sanctuary at Wilderness Bisate in December 2025, expanding the group’s health-focused offering in the volcanic highlands of Rwanda.
The sanctuary will be open to guests at Wilderness Bisate and Bisate Reserve. It marks a shift towards deeper wellness integration across Wilderness properties.
Facilities at The Sanctuary will include a heated indoor salt-water lap pool, steam room, ice bath, meditation pods, gym, yoga area and treatment rooms offering massages and beauty services. Design features include natural materials, curated soundscapes, signature scents and fireplaces.
Wilderness confirmed that the wellness offering will later be rolled out at Wilderness Mombo in Botswana with further integration of wellness across its camps through immersive activities, sustainably sourced food and opportunities for “intentional disconnection”.
