AIRPORTS Company South Africa (Acsa) has opened its new low-cost, long-term parking facility at OR Tambo International Airport. The area, consisting of 1 100 secure, covered parking bays, is situated at the Super South Gate, at the airport’s western end. Commuters making use of the facility will pay R10 per day, which can be paid by credit card at the exit point, or by cash or credit card at a pay station. Acsa also offers a SpeedPark prepaid card which can be used at all parking facilities including the long-term parking area. In addition, Acsa has made a 24-hour shuttle service available.
