Addo Elephant Back Safaris and Lodge has recently opened an office in Addo to facilitate transfers to and from the lodge.
The office is located at the Wine Bar just north of Addo village on the R335 and is open daily from 08h00 to 17h00.
Guests are urged to leave their vehicles in the office parking area and make use of either the air or road transfer option to reach the lodge.
A convenient 10-minute air transfer from the Addo office to the Lodge is done in an Airvan, seating seven passengers.
Dedicated headsets facilitate communication flow between the pilot and the passengers and the luggage pod provides increased luggage storage capacity while the large windows offer uninterrupted scenic views of the Zuurberg Mountains en route.
A one-hour road transfer that takes guests high up into the Zuurberg Mountains en-route to the lodge is done in a eight-seat 4x4 microbus.
