The shop and an adjoining TV room at Letaba rest camp in the Kruger National Park, were gutted by a fire on Wednesday evening, September 9. Staff extinguished the blaze by morning and no one was injured, nor were any other parts of the camp affected, according to some eyewitness accounts. The cause of the blaze is still unknown.
