Boulevard Hospitality Group has acquired Hunter’s Rest Hotel in Rustenburg and Malaga Hotel in Waterval Boven, with effect from July 1.
Hunter’s Rest is currently undergoing a complete R12m refurbishment, and about R1m is being invested in renovating Malaga.
Monique Kiefer, who served as GM at Protea Hotel Capital for the last 12 years, has been appointed GM at Hunter’s Rest and Werner Kasdorf, previously Assistant GM at Protea Hotel Manor, has been appointed GM at Malaga Hotel.
The group owns and manages Protea Hotel Capital and Protea Hotel Manor in Pretoria, Protea Hotel Witbank in Emalahleni, and Protea Hotel Highveld in Emalahleni.
