Garden Route Game Lodge, which is located along the N2 just outside Albertinia, has completed a refurbishment of 15 chalet bathrooms. The chalets, including the Honeymoon chalet, Waterhole view chalets and Valley view chalets now have new tiles and sanitary ware and new countertop basins on a marble vanity splash back. Showers have also been completely retiled fitted with Hansgrohe mixers and shower heads.
In other news, a major project to upgrade the exterior of the Main Lodge has begun. Once complete, the upgrade will provide a more aesthetically pleasing exterior finish through the use of a combination of textured plaster and stone cladding. The upgrade will also see each room getting its own private deck through the construction of divider walls between each unit. The project has been put on hold during high season until mid 2012 when the remaining units will be completed.
