A FIRE broke out at the Southern Sun Malelane Hotel, situated in the Kruger National Park, yesterday morning (May 22), causing substantial damage. The hotel has closed until further notice. All guests and staff were safely evacuated and have been accommodated at nearby hotels. The cause of the fire is being investigated and a full assessment of the damage will be complete in the next two days.
