THE new Karkloof Spa has opened in KwaZulu Natal’s midlands in early September.
The boutique lodge is located 24km from Pietermaritzburg surrounded by 3 500 hectares of terrain and wildlife and comprises 16 villas, all featuring modern conveniences such as satellite TV, complimentary Internet access, under-floor heating and air conditioning.
The focus of the property is the spa and wellness centre, which features 17 treatment rooms, including two couples rooms, a four-chair manicure and pedicure room, flotation tank, Kneipp pools, a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms.
