The Grande Roche Hotel and Restaurant has announced the appointment of Anja Bosken (pictured here) as the new General Manager of the Paarl property. Bosken joins the Grand Roche Hotel with over 26 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, which includes having worked at some of the best hotels in South Africa. She was voted the ‘GM of the Year 2009’, acknowledging her as one of most respected hoteliers in the country.
Premier Hotel & Resorts has appointed Gregg Bremner food and beverage manager at Premier OR Tambo in Johannesburg. Bremner joins the Premier team after having gained valuable experience at various first class Durban-based establishments.
The Rezidor Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Han Oldenburger as Regional Director for Southern Africa. Oldenburger succeeds Maarten van den Nieuwenhuijsen and will be based in Cape Town. In October 2003 Oldenburger was appointed Regional Director for the Benelux region. He previously worked as Regional Director for Ireland and Northern Ireland since 2009. He will be responsible for Rezidor’s growing portfolio of hotels in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Mozambique and Zambia, which are branded under the Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson. He will report directly to Brussels-based Jacques Dubois, Senior Vice President & COO.
