GUNN’S Bush Camp in the Okavango Delta in Botswana will be closed for a complete rebuild from December 1, 2008 until June 1, 2009.
The main camp will remain open and will be unaffected by the restructure. Construction noise and builders will not affect guests, as Gunn's Bush Camp is located 1,5km away in a densely treed and palm fringed island.
The new vintage style camp will consist of new dining, bar, and lounge areas, a swimming pool and 16 ensuite meru tents, each with its own private deck.
The new camp will offer a more personalised wildlife experience through the provision of specialist guiding services and new custom made boats. Activities will include mokoro trails, game walks, island camping and sunset motorboat cruises.
Similar to its sister properties Pom Pom Camp, Chobe Safari Lodge and Gunn's Camp, the new camp will be a luxury property.
