YANN Gillet has been appointed the new gm at the Hyatt Regency Johannesburg. He replaces Garry Friend, who has moved to Qatar to open the Grand Hyatt Doha next year.
Gillet joined Hyatt International in 1994 and worked at the Hyatt Regency Paris Charles de Gaulle for five years before moving over to the Radisson Group. He then rejoined the Hyatt group in 2002 as the executive assistant manager of Hyatt Regency Casablanca.
