PROTEA Hotels will open the four-star Protea Hotel Colosseum at Century City, Cape Town on November 1.
The hotel was meant to open on August 1, but due to construction delays reservations are only being taken from November 1.
The development of the Colosseum cost around R140m and it comprises 62 spacious suites and eight luxurious penthouses with private balconies. It is situated on the top two floors of the mixed-use Colosseum building. All rooms have at least one plasma or LCD screen television and offer free Internet.
The hotel also caters for business travellers with complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity, a high-tech sound room and an executive boardroom.
