THE Lilongwe Sanctuary Lodge is a new eco-friendly lodge built in Lilongwe, Malawi.
Ten secluded chalets are located in 8ha of indigenous woodland. All rooms are air-conditioned and have Internet access, mini bars and tea and coffee making facilities.
The main restaurant, reception and bar area overlook the swimming pool and gardens, trailing down to the Lingadzi River.
Picnic sites are available along the river and the lodge has access into the adjacent Lilongwe Wildlife Centre, which supports, rescues and rehabilitates various wild animals in Malawi.
Set away from the main lodge and the chalets is a campsite which will, in the near future, have its own bar, restaurant and swimming pool. The site caters for individual campers as well as bigger groups of people.
