Ten Bompas Hotel in Dunkeld West, Johannesburg, has added a restaurant to the property and will launch a conference and events centre next year.
The new restaurant, Winehouse, is named after Amy Winehouse. Dominik Middlecamp and Andrew Scott Fleet are the chefs at Winehouse, which will serve a French-themed menu that will change on a daily basis. Fresh produce will be sourced from the hotel’s vegetable garden.
The restaurant seats 50 diners indoors, 16 in the private dining room and an additional 30 on the terrace. It is open for breakfast and lunch Monday to Sunday. Private breakfasts, lunches and dinners as well as cocktail parties, functions and events can be arranged.
Early next year the hotel will launch the newly completed Space conference and events centre, comprising two locations accommodating between 30 and 70 guests respectively.
