Wilderness Explorations, the guided journey division of Wilderness Safaris, has opened Gomoti Tented Camp in Botswana’s community-owned Santawani Concession, in the south-east corner of the Okavango.
“We are thrilled to add this intimate camp to our explorations portfolio within Botswana. Staff are employed from the local Sankuyo community and the camp is completely eco-friendly with no new permanent structures – ideal for adventurous travellers,” said Simon Collier, Manager, Wilderness Safaris Explorations.
The main area includes a thatched dining room and lounge. The camp accommodates a maximum of eight guests in five canvas tents. The tents feature wooden-framed wardrobes, twin beds, mirrors and private verandas. Each tent has an en-suite toilet and shower.
Exploration guides are also available to takes guests on day and night drives to view wildlife.
