Required Qualifications:
• Matric / Grade 12
• Minimum 5 years' inbound tourism experience in a senior luxury role
• Strong experience with tailor-made FIT itineraries
• Excellent South African and regional destination knowledge
• Tourplan experience (advantageous)
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and problem-solving ability
Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inbound Tour Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for Southern & East African travel and a strong desire to create memorable experiences for our clients. As an Inbound Tour Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and organizing customised itineraries, providing expert advice on destinations and attractions, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Consult with high-end clients to understand preferences and requirements
• Design tailor-made luxury itineraries (FIT) with exclusive experiences
• Manage quotations, reservations, confirmations, and client files
• Load and manage bookings on Tourplan
• Coordinate logistics including flights, transfers, and meet & greets
• Maintain ongoing communication with agents and clients
• Handle changes, issues, and complaints professionally
• Manage invoicing, payments, and account queries in liaison with finance
• Monitor margins, reconcile files, and report on variances
• Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships
• Collaborate within the team and assist outside office hours when required
