• Home office set up with uncapped, reliable internet, and own laptop/desktop
• Proven work experience as an inbound travel consultant
• Good product knowledge of South Africa and neighbouring countries.
• Experience in operating itineraries independently (mainly FIT’s,) from start to finish and take responsibility for all aspects of tours, including the accounting side.
• Previous working experience on a Tour Operating system is essential, experience on Wetu would be beneficial
• Ability to take initiative and ensure attention to detail.
• Put together travel documents for FIT travellers.
• Teamwork and enthusiasm to assist colleagues.
• Energetic and have a passion for learning and the travel industry
• Time management: ability to prioritise, plan, and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication - internally as well as externally.
• Be professional and offer high service levels at all times.
• Ability to handle pressure and volume - be able to multitask.
• Build relationships with agents as well as suppliers.
