PERSON SPECIFICATION
The ideal candidate should possess:
• Bachelor's Degree in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management or related field.
• MBA will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in Tour & Travel Operations and Hospitality Services at Senior Management level.
• Strong commercial, business development and operational leadership capability.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Demonstrable innovation, creativity and thought leadership.
• High levels of integrity, resilience and results orientation.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 70%).

Rainbow Tourism Group Limited is seeking a dynamic, commercially driven and visionary leader to take overall responsibility for Heritage Expeditions Africa (HEXA) and drive its growth across local, regional and international tourism markets.
THE ROLE
The General Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership of HEXA, with primary accountability for business growth, revenue and profitability, product development, operational excellence, strategic partnerships and exceptional guest experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive revenue growth, profitability and achievement of key business targets.
• Develop and execute HEXA's business, sales and marketing strategies.
• Grow the business across local, regional and international markets.
• Develop innovative tourism products, experiences and competitive packages.
• Build productive strategic partnerships and identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain strong financial, operational, asset and risk-management controls.
• Lead and develop a high-performing, commercially focused team.
• Champion innovation, service excellence and world-class guest experiences.
• Maintain regular presence across HEXA destinations and operations.
