Required Qualifications:
GDS certificate - preferably Amadeus
Fares and Ticketing experience
Good geographical knowledge
3 to 5 years' experience in the tourism industry
Working knowledge of excel and other MS Office Applications
Sound knowledge of ticketing, fares and rules for both domestic and international travel
Ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail is critical
Good Communication skills and a team player
Ability to handle high-pressure travel related situations
Description:
* To provide a reliable and efficient service, processing tickets quickly and accurately
* Ensure Compliance in all aspects of travel procedures
* Issuing and re-issuing of all air tickets and EMD's within the GDS
* Creating booking on Amadeus, NDC, ClubHub
* Creating and facilitating group bookings through Amadeus and various airline platforms
* Invoicing bookings in Tourplan
* Ensure all necessary checks are completed before tickets is issued
* Ensure fare rules are read and clearly understood
* Assisting with queries from the consultant and ticketing customers
* Ensure Compliance in all aspects of travel procedures
