Sharon Gilbert-Rivett is the founder and creative director of The Safari Collective, a boutique specialist safari marketing and brand agency based in Hoedspruit in the Greater Kruger region of South Africa. A respected travel and conservation journalist, she has spent almost four decades in the travel and tourism industry as both a stakeholder and commentator, earning a SANParks Kudu Award for conservation journalism and a Siemens Profile Award for scientific writing. Today she's a successful marketer putting her wordsmithery skills to good use writing for and about the African safari industry, with a particular focus on conservation, sustainability and the communities and businesses that keep wild places wild.
