A NEW tourist route has been launched in Oudtshoorn called the Art, Cheese, Chocolate and Liquer Route.
At Jamstreet farm, an abandoned dairy has been transformed into the Moooi Gallery, where visitors will find on display unique paintings and sculptures by local, national and international artists. The farm also features an unusual labyrinth built with empty wine bottles.
Nearby, Tantinki farm offers travellers a variety of goats milk products, including yoghurt, ice cream, fudge and 13 different cheeses in 17 flavours.
Inspired by the 18th century French period, la chocolaterie Rocco offers guests an array of Belgian chocolates made from imported, preservative-free products.
Guests will find Grundheim Wines at the vineyards of Sandkoppies – a farm that uses a historic wine cellar to produce muskadel, port, home made liquers and potstill brandy.
