David & Goliath Safari Company’s Meno-a-kwena tented camp in Botswana has been extensively refurbished. Hennie Rawlinson, Managing Director, told Tourism Update: “The refurb of the tents was necessary to give the camp a facelift as the old tents were tired and needed replacement.”
The refurbishment of eight tents included replacing furniture, new beds, linen and carpets. He said further revamps of the camp were ongoing.
Meno-a-kwena accommodates up to 16 guests and is on the banks of the Boteti River overlooking the Makgadigadi National Park about 115km south-east of Maun. Guests can watch endless herds of wildlife drinking at the river from their tent.
