Botswana: Okavango tented camp reopens following refurbishment

The nine tents at &Beyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp have been replaced with simple new structures with wide overhangs for shaded outdoor living.

&Beyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp in Botswana reopened on May 11 following a refurbishment.

The nine tents have been replaced with simple new structures with wide overhangs for shaded outdoor living and gum pole colonnades.

The king-sized beds, framed with headboards made from canvas and leather strips, overlook views of the Okavango Delta. Canvas and leather panelled walls divide the bedroom from the en suite bathroom, which now has indoor and outdoor showers.

The private verandas of the guest tents have been extended to create a spacious sitting area and there is a swinging bench in the private salas (lounges).

Two of the tents have been converted into an inter-leading family suite by means of a covered walkway.

A private vehicle is now also available at an additional cost.

“The camp’s brand-new look makes it the ideal complement to our other properties in the Okavango Delta, as well as in neighbouring countries,” says Joss Kent, &Beyond CEO.
