The Ambassador Hotel in Bantry Bay, Cape Town, will close on November 30.
The hotel has been sold to new owners who have alternative plans for the property.
Guests with a reservation on and beyond November 30, will receive a full refund.
The hotel declined to comment on the new owner’s plans.
