O&L Leisure appoints new MD
O&L Leisure has announced the appointment of Maryke van Lill as MD, effective March 1. Van Lill also joins the O&L Group Executive Team.
With 15 years of experience across marketing, brand strategy, innovation and client leadership, Van Lill most recently served as O&L Leisure’s GM: Marketing.
As MD, Van Lill will oversee O&L Leisure’s strategic direction, focusing on sustainable growth, premium brand positioning and deepening O&L’s role as a preferred destination marketing partner across the continent.
Anvil Bay under new ownership
Stella Bettany and Cordelia Masher have taken ownership of the remote, luxury Anvil Bay eco lodge within the Maputo Special Reserve in southern Mozambique.
The property is operated in partnership with Peace Parks and the National Administration for the Conservation Areas.
Bettany confirmed that the lodge is undergoing refurbishments while protecting its conservation-led, low-impact ethos.
“I feel enormous gratitude for the trust placed in us, for our partners, community and team on the ground in Mozambique. Most of all to Paul and Ricky Bell whose original vision and stewardship made this next chapter possible,” said Bettany.
