ILIOS Travel opened a new branch in Hazyview on August 1, from where it will operate privately escorted day tours into the greater Kruger, Mpumalanga and north eastern Limpopo regions.
According to the company, the introduction of these day tours follows customer demand. The tours will give visitors the opportunity to explore the scenery and learn more about conservation and wildlife rehabilitation initiatives in the area. The Hazyview branch will also operate tours into neighbouring countries, Mozambique and Swaziland.
The new branch will be headed up by Kruger Operations Manager, Vusi Nyandeni, who will be based in Hazyview along with his team of guides.
ILIOS Travel has also relocated its head office and added vehicles to its fleet. The head office and administrative and operational team have moved to Epping Industria. A Mercedes Benz Viano has been added to the Cape Town fleet and the Johannesburg fleet now includes a BMW 5-Series.
Chantel Viljoen has been appointed Senior Sales and Marketing Executive and will be based at the company’s Cape Town office.
