SAFARI & Adventure, an independent division of the Wilderness Safaris Group, will open new camps in Zambia and Namibia.
Lufupa River Camp and Lufupa Tented Camp are situated at the confluence of the Lufupa and Kafue rivers in the northern portion of the Kafue National Park in Zambia. The camps will open in May and June. Each camp has nine en-suite tents, some of which are family rooms. The Tented Camp is fully inclusive, while River Camp is offered on a bed-and-breakfast basis. The River Camp features the Kafue River Café with a bar and restaurant where à la carte meals and drinks are served during the day and in the early evenings to guests from River Camp and the nearby campsite. Activities, at an extra cost, include day and night nature drives, boat trips, guided nature walks and fishing excursions.
In Namibia, the newly built Andersson’s Camp is situated near the Andersson’s Gate to Etosha. The camp has 20 tented guest units with en-suite bathrooms, raised on decks for an enhanced view of the surrounding plains and waterhole.
Safari & Adventure opened Rocktail Beach Camp in KwaZulu Natal in South Africa in December last year.
