Sales and marketing representation company, Inspirational Places, has announced the appointment of two key staff members to further support its growing portfolio of luxury hotels and lodges across Southern Africa. Inspirational Places now has representation in each of the three major business centres in South Africa.
Susanna Voysey has been appointed Sales and Marketing Manager, based in Johannesburg, while Helen Balidis has been appointed Sales and Marketing Assistant, operating from Durban.
Voysey has a background in business development, events, marketing and sales, having worked in various industry sectors, including the last three years as Sales Partnership Manager at high-end travel show, We Are Africa.
Balidis is also well known in the industry, having spent 15 years at New Frontier Tours, first as Contracts Specialist, and the last ten years as Sales Travel Specialist.
Allie Hunt, who has owner-managed Inspirational Places since 2008, is assisted by Glynnis McPherson, who provides administrative support at Head Office in Cape Town, after she joined Inspiration Places from Singita three years ago.
Commenting on the new appointments, Hunt says: “I am honoured to bring on board two of the top industry players who bring their own set of skills and extensive experience to add to the invaluable support that Glynis already provides to the Inspirational Places team. With international travel opening up more and more, we are really excited to have a strong marketing and sales team to take our clients back onto the global stage.”
