NAMIBIA Wildlife Resorts (NWR) has provided details on the progress of its infrastructure improvements, which began in November last year. During a press briefing, NWR md, Tobie Aupindi, said the upgrade of accommodation at Waterberg National Park had already been completed. The facilities at Halali National Park will be complete by May 31, while work at both Okaukuejo and Namutoni National Parks will be complete during July. The new lodge, Sossus Dune Lodge in Namib Naukluft Park, will open on June 30. Construction at Ai-Ais will begin on November 1 this year, at which point the lodge will close.
