The lack of regulation governing animal interactions is becoming a growing concern, as lines have been blurred between education, entertainment and conservation. At the recent Satsa conference a panel discussion talked about the matter, with no solid outcome. The problem arises because animal interactions attract numerous tourists annually; therefore conservation tends to take a back seat.
