Riverside Sun expands meetings offering

New facilities have been added to the Riverside Sun.

The Riverside Sun, which recently underwent a refurbishment, has added new facilities for meetings, conferences and events to its offering.

On offer, are 11 versatile conference venues and catering facilities for between 10 and 500 guests. The hotel offers five newly renovated conference venues, complete with new furnishings and equipment. These rooms can be used individually or may be combined as a gala venue, catering for 500 guests. Adjacent to the conference rooms are three syndicate rooms that seat 10 people each and are suitable for strategy breakaway sessions or smaller meetings.

For more intimate, private events, guests have a choice between the Kingfisher room and two secluded log cabins. The Kingfisher room, with its natural lighting and private courtyard where meals can be served, is ideal for executive meetings. The log cabins are situated in the gardens of the property but separate from the hotel and overlook the Vaal River.

The Riverside Sun now also includes a Wine Cellar that seats 40 people comfortably. It can be used for special dinners or a variety of tastings, from wine to whisky, brandy and beer, and offers a big-screen television with the necessary equipment to contact business partners from around the world.

The hotel offers dinner under the stars, which is a themed dinner in a Bedouin tent. Additionally, the hotel is able to pitch a Bedouin tent and furnish it with beanbags on the green lawn of the property.
