SABLE Hospitality, which recently launched its new identity, is now venturing into the hotel management field. Sable’s Reg Ferreira says they will from February 2007 take over the management of a new property in the Cape Winelands: Tijgerwijn Residens. The new three-person management team will also manage two additional properties in the New Year. The four-star Durbanville property has 80 bedrooms, a 120-seat restaurant, conference facilities for up to 120 delegates, breakaway rooms, a wine boutique, outdoor swimming pool and golf facilities. The development follows Sable’s recent joint venture with Cresta Hospitality Group Africa to launch the Cresta/Sable Hospitality Card in all its alliance hotels and resorts.
