SANParks
has sold two-thirds of its MATCH inventory the day these 14 731 room nights
were released back into the system (March 4).
Says Glenn Phillips, Managing Executive of Tourism and Marketing at SANParks: “We are positive that the remainder of unsold inventory will be sold soon.”
In addition to the rapid sale of the World Cup accommodation on the day, SANParks also recorded a day of highest online sales of accommodation through its website. “Yesterday we recorded R726 000 in reservation sales through our online booking system,” adds Phillips.
Clients, he says, should be aware that campsites at Skukuza, Pretoriuskop and Berg en Dal in the Kruger National Park have also been released and are available for booking.
