SA Tourism as announced the appointment of Sithembile Ndaba as Chief Marketing Officer, effective April 1, and Ismail Dockrat as Chief Operating Officer, effective May 1.
Ndaba is a marketing and communications executive with more than 25 years of experience spanning brand strategy, global positioning, integrated marketing and reputation management. She has worked across the public and private sectors, including multinational FMCG organisations such as Pioneer Foods, Tiger Brands and Unilever.
She joins SA Tourism from Brand South Africa where she served as General Manager: Marketing and held leadership roles including Acting CEO and Acting Chief Marketing Officer.
Dockrat brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the aviation, aerospace manufacturing, logistics and distribution, trade, investment and tourism promotion sectors. He has held senior roles at leading South African institutions, including the CSIR, Armscor, Trade and Investment South Africa, Wesgro, Denel and Glodina.
An engineer by training with an MBA from the University of Cape Town, Dockrat combines technical expertise with strong strategic and commercial acumen.
